Michelle was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and moved to Arizona in 1990. She went to Nursing School and received her RN license in 2004. Michelle predominately worked as an Emergency Room Nurse for the majority of her career, however interest in dermatology began when she worked in a medical spa office practicing cosmetic dermatology. She made the decision to go back to school at Grand Canyon University and graduated with her Masters in Nursing for Family Nurse Practitioner. During her schooling, she was able to train with different dermatology offices in the valley and acquired a one-year fellowship working in a medical dermatology office. It was here that she found her true desire to treat, educate, and diagnose dermatological issues.
In Michelle’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, playing board games, and traveling. She is a soon to be 1st time grandma, and cannot wait to spend her time of out the office with the newest addition to her family!
