Dr. Gildenstern was inspired to dedicate her life to the care of children when she witnessed her mother nurse a foster child through bone fractures as an infant. He went on to become her brother, and she watched him thrive and become an excellent baseball player.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Southwestern University and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School before moving to Arizona to complete her Pediatrics residency at Phoenix Children’s Hospital/Maricopa Medical Center. Nearing graduation from her Pediatrics residency in 2010, she was invited to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. She did so and has been attending to children’s skin care needs ever since. Dr. Gildenstern addresses a wide variety of skin care concerns: warts, molluscum, vascular birthmarks, moles, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis, among others. She is also fluent in Spanish.

When not working, she enjoys exercise, reading a good book, cheering her kids on at sports, and watching baking shows.

Dr. Gildenstern is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the Society for Pediatric Dermatology.
